China is one of the fastest developing countries in the world rubber industry, while the rapid economic growth of the rubber industry, its industrial structure and product structure have been further optimized.
During the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, the annual growth rate of the industrial output value of the domestic rubber industry reached 36%, and the annual consumption growth rate reached 12.25%. Among them, the average annual growth rate of radial tires reached 28.5%, and the annual growth rate of tire exports was as high as 34.94%.
In 2011, the total output value of the domestic rubber industry reached 728.2 billion yuan, rubber consumption reached 6.9 million tons, a total of 456 million tires were produced, and tire exports reached 129.61 billion US dollars.
In 2011, the meridian rate of domestic tires reached more than 87.28%, an increase of 2.63%; The growth ratio of high-strength conveyor belt and wire V-belt exceeds 90%, and the proportion of wire braided high-pressure hose has also increased significantly; The promotion of wet granulation process in carbon black industry has been effective.
In the same year, the rubber additives industry began to gradually eliminate toxic and harmful products, promote the clean production process of "green additives", and the proportion of "green additives" reached 90%; The comprehensive utilization rate of waste tire rubber is 85%. The industry also vigorously promotes green and environmentally friendly recycled rubber products, carries out clean and civilized production, and reduces the power consumption of recycled rubber by 20% per ton.
Economic operation of rubber industry
Since 2012, the economic operation of the domestic rubber industry has shown the following characteristics.
First, economic growth has slowed, with major economic indicators showing single-digit growth. In the first half of the year, the economic indicators of the rubber industry continued to show a slight downward trend, but compared with the previous two years, especially last year, the continuous narrowing trend was significantly improved, showing signs of stabilization.
Secondly, industry exports fluctuated, and the growth rate fell sharply. In January, the export delivery value of the whole industry was -8.58%, of which tires were -12.7%, and then picked up month by month, the growth rate reached 14.01% in April, and it fell back in May and June.
In the first half of this year, the export value of the rubber industry increased by 7.87%, down 25.49 percentage points compared with the increase in the same period last year. Among them, the export value of the tire industry increased by 7.83%, compared with the increase in the same period of last year, down 25.68 percentage points, compared with the increase in the first quarter, down 0.41 percentage points; The export value of the hose and tape industry increased by -4.48% year-on-year, down 13.29 percentage points compared with the increase in the first quarter.
In addition, the export of some rubber products has increased in volume and decreased in price. In addition to seasonal factors such as festivals, sharp fluctuations in the European economy, twists and turns in the international economic recovery process, unstable market expectations, and international trade frictions are all important factors that lead to ups and downs in export growth.
The third feature of the economic operation of the rubber industry this year is that the industry benefit index is stable, but the growth rate is narrowed. As the cost of raw materials continues to fluctuate, production costs are difficult to control, and the price of rubber products such as tires has also fallen. In February and March, the industry's profit growth rate was more than 40%, and then began to shrink to the current 32%. If this goes on, it will gradually erode the profit margin of the industry.
Among the 358 statistical enterprises in the rubber industry (excluding auxiliaries and skeleton materials),54 lost money, with a loss of 15.08%; The loss amounted to 364 million yuan, down 15.73% year-on-year
In addition to the above characteristics, there is insufficient demand in the rubber industry in 2012, excess capacity is prominent, and inventory is high. Over the years, due to the adoption of a variety of stimulus policies in different regions, the rapid expansion of rubber products production capacity, tires, pipes and other products have appeared to varying degrees of overcapacity, low-level homogenization competition and "price war", resulting in a sharp decline in corporate profits.
Since the beginning of this year, in the case of declining market demand, business inventories remain high. In the first half of the year, the industry's finished goods inventory reached 23 billion yuan, an increase of 7.9%. The inventory growth rate of pipe belt, products, rubber shoes, waste rubber comprehensive utilization and other industries is higher than the same period last year. Although the inventory of the tire industry is not high year-on-year, it is still as high as 12.9 billion yuan. It is understood that the inventory of tire dealers is very serious.
China rubber industry development trend
At present, the main problems facing the development of China's rubber industry are as follows.
On the one hand, the ability of independent research and development and technological innovation is insufficient, and the competitiveness of core technologies is low; On the other hand, the industrial concentration is relatively low. In addition, the main raw materials and products are highly dependent on foreign countries, the development of upstream and downstream industries is not coordinated, and the economic growth mode needs to be further transformed from extensive to intensive.
The development trend of the rubber industry, one is to strengthen the technological progress of enterprises, adhere to independent innovation and the development of characteristic products.
Among them, the trend of the tire industry is to realize the industrialization of "green tires", establish the "label" system, research and application of advanced production processes and equipment, and accelerate the construction of tire test sites.
In the rubber products industry, it is necessary to develop high-tech transmission belts and improve the technical level of new conveyor belts; Improve the manufacturing technology and product performance of automotive hose, fill the gap of domestic high-grade automotive hose, and achieve lightweight hose and product characteristics; The rubber products industry should speed up the research and development and application of rubber products for infrastructure, encourage independent research and development, and develop into cross-regional enterprise groups with productization, production scale, management efficiency and institutional collectivization.
In terms of raw materials, it is necessary to actively develop and apply natural rubber substitutes, such as isoprene rubber, eucommia rubber and other rubber resources; Accelerate the research, development and application of new varieties of low rolling resistance carbon black and functional carbon black, and develop new varieties of high performance carbon black, low rolling resistance carbon black and special carbon black for automotive rubber products that are urgently needed by the market; Develop and produce new functional varieties of pigment carbon black and conductive carbon black with better performance; Support the development and application of new materials such as green environmental protection additives and special carbon black.
The second is to promote the merger and reorganization of enterprises and optimize the industrial organization structure. Compared with international counterparts, China's rubber industry enterprises are large in number, generally small in scale, most of them can not play economies of scale, and lack of world-renowned brands. From the experience of international multinational companies, merger and reorganization has always been an important way for enterprises to become bigger and stronger. The focus of small and medium-sized enterprises is to improve the level of "specialized and special new" development.
The third is to promote the integration of industrialization and information technology, and improve the information and automation level of the rubber industry. Successfully developed a variety of enterprise raw material procurement, production planning, finance, sales, after-sales service and other software, and applied in the enterprise, some rubber machinery and manufacturing processes to achieve digital control.
Fourth, we will vigorously develop energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies and materials. Develop new energy saving technology and equipment (nitrogen curing process, smelting dust and curing flue gas treatment), and improve the comprehensive utilization level of waste tires. Development and application of environmental protection, energy saving, efficient rubber raw materials and various auxiliaries.
Fifth, strengthen quality brand building, focus on cultivating a number of independent brands with international influence, use capital operation, transform and upgrade traditional industries. This is also the fundamental way to transform the development model.
